SDAT scheme for school students
CHENNAI,
MAY 4.
As part of the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu's (SDAT) Talent Identification scheme done through `Report Card' from schools, as many as 214 aspirants, between class sixth and eighth, who had excelled in the regional level competitions, took part in a 15-day residential camp at the Nehru Stadium here from April 20 to May 4.
From the camp, 50 trainees were chosen for the Sprints and Jumps Academy coming up in Madurai.
At a valedictory function, Rajeeva Srivastava, secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs, Susan Mathew, secretary, State Government, W.I. Davaram, and PWC Davidar, Member Secretary, SDAT, Tamil Nadu, took part.
