No increase in land price
According to the DSIDC Managing Director, Jalaj Shrivastva, hundreds of entrepreneurs had been allotted plots under the industries relocation scheme at Bawana and those facing problem due to deletion of partners/directors not covered under the definition of family will now be able to get their plots regularised in their names after paying a nominal fee of Rs.100 per sq.m. "The DSIDC has already obtained approval from the Delhi's Lieutenant-Governor, Vijai Kapoor, for this," he said. Mr. Shrivastva said the allottees who had deposited 50 per cent or more of their payment but could not deposit full payment had been given a final opportunity to make the remaining payment by June 30 this year with 18 per cent interest. However, if an allottee had been granted any relief by a court against making this payment, an intimation of the same should be given to the Corporation, he added. Informing that allotment letters of all those who were given plots in Bawana through draw of lots in June last year had also been dispatched, Mr. Shrivastva said there would be a marginal increase in the price of land as well as in the unearned increase in places like Narela, Patparganj, Badli and Jhilmil and would vary from one location to another. "The cost has gone up from Rs.5,400 per sq.m. to Rs.7,776 per sq.m. at Narela, Jhilmil and Badli while the increase at Patparganj has been from Rs.7,560 per sq.m. to Rs.10,886. Similarly, the cost of unearned increase in Narela and Badli has been from Rs.650 per sq.m. to Rs.2,796 and at Patparganj and Jhilmil to Rs.1,500," he added.
