INDORE, MAY 4. Two Congress leaders, whose plea against cine star-turned-politician Dharmendra and Rajya Sabha Member Hema Malini was recently dismissed by a judicial magistrate's court, today filed a revision petition in the district and sessions court here. Judge Sheela Khanna fixed May 8 as the date of hearing. On May 1, the Madhya Pradesh Congress Minorities Cell Vice-President, Akhtar Baig, and a local party man, K K Mishra's advocate dashed off a plea to the President, A P J Abdul Kalam, urging him to scrap Ms Malini's Rajya Sabha membership. On April 28, the BJP's Bikaner candidate, Dharmendra, got a breather when Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Narendra Jain quashed the first petition which had alleged that the `Sholay' hero and Ms Malini ``deceived people'' by concealing their religion. The Congress leaders' had pleaded for registration of cases under different sections, including Section 420 of the IPC. They alleged that Dharmendra converted to Islam for marrying Hema Malini and the couple adopted the names Dilawar Khan and Ayesha Bi. The Congressmen demanded termination of Ms Malini's Rajya Sabha membership as she took oath using her `Hindu' name.
