Rajnikant to meet PM today

CHENNAI, MAY 4. During the brief 30-minute stopover at the Chennai airport on Wednesday, the Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, will be closeted with film actor Rajnikant.

According to airport and security sources, Mr. Rajnikant's meeting with the Prime Minister assumes significance as he had expressed support to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The one-to-one meeting is scheduled for 6-35 p.m. soon after the Prime Minister arrives here for electioneering.
