Recalibration: auto drivers for extension of deadline

HYDERABAD, MAY 4. The Auto Drivers Joint Action Committee has sought to dispute May 17 as the last date for auto meter recalibration according to revised fares.

In a statement issued here, the committee said though the Government, while effecting an increase in the auto fares on February 17, gave three months time to auto drivers for getting their meters recalibrated, there was a delay as the process commenced only on March 4.
