BANGALORE, MAY 4. Burglars broke into a private firm in the Madivala police station limits on Monday night and took away Rs. 5.65 lakh in cash and goods worth over Rs. 4.5 lakh. Priya Rao, manager of FabIndia, located in 7th Block, Koramangala, has lodged a complaint with the police that the burglars entered the firm by breaking open the locks. The Madivala police have registered a case. Another burglary: Thieves took away Rs. 50,000 in cash and gold ornaments worth Rs. 1 lakh from the house of Krishnappa in 1st Block, BTM Layout, on Monday night. Krishnappa's family was on a pilgrimage to Dharmastala, the police said. The Madivala police have registered a case.
