TIRUPATI, MAY 5. The Civil Services preliminary examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission will be held in six centres in Tirupati on May 16. The centres are Sri Padmavathi Women's Polytechnic, Sri Padmavathi Women's Junior College (both in Padmavathi Nagar), Sri Padmavathi Girls High School, SV University High School (both on West Church road), SV Junior College (PP Chavadi street) and Sri Govindarajaswamy High School (Kapila Theertham road). At a meeting held at the RDO's office here on Wednesday to review the arrangements with the centre supervisors and assistant coordinating supervisors, the district Collector, A. Giridhar, explained the precautionary measures to be taken for the smooth conduct of the examination with the help of a PowerPoint presentation.
