NELLORE, MAY 5. An average rainfall of 3.12 cm was recorded in 46 mandals in the district on Wednesday. While Dakkili mandal recorded the highest rainfall of 8.05 cm, Kota mandal recorded a rainfall of 7.42 cm. The rainfall in other mandals is as follows: Tada (7.36 cm), Vakadu (6.36 cm), Butchireddipalem (5.59 cm), Sydapuram (5.56 cm), Sullurpet (5.32 cm), Venkatachalam (4.78 cm), Doravarisatram (4.40 cm), Indukurpet (4.04 cm), Nellore (4.14 cm), Chillakuru (4.47 cm), Kovuru (3.90 cm), Totapalligudur (3.84 cm), Ogili (3.32 cm), Vidavalur (3.24 cm), Chittamuru (2.91), Jaladanki, Kavali and Udayagiri mandals (each 2.42 cm rainfall), Naidupet (2.41 cm), Balayapalli (2.38 cm), Seetaramapuram (2.32 cm) and Bogole (2.02 cm).
