Kartik on a tear

NEW DELHI, MAY 5. Left-arm spinner Murali Kartik made a brilliant start to his stint with the Ramsbottom Club in the minor league in England.

In his first match for the Lancashire county club at Dilhall Lane, Kartik took nine for 30 as Ramsbottom defeated Enfield Club, which was skittled out for 117. Ramsbottom knocked off the runs comfortably with Kartik adjudged the `man of the match'.
