YCBC thrashes Vimanapura

BANGALORE, MAY 5. It was a fruitful outing for the outstation teams in the State junior basketball championship, which got underway with matches in the boys section, at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium outdoor courts here on Wednesday.

Young Challengers Basketball Club, Bellary set the tone with lopsided 31-4 win over Vimanapura, while Merchants, Davangere defeated Orions SC 33-21.

Kaleem 21) bt Vimanapura 4; Merchants, Davangere 33 (Harshavardhan 10, Chetan 11) bt Orions SC 21 (Lalit 10); Greens, Davangere 30 (Sandeep 13, Abhsik 12) bt YMMA 26 (Avinash 10); Nationals, Mysore 32 (Naveen 13) bt Ambedkar BC 20; Rovers, Dharwad 46 (Harsha 13, Pavan 12) bt Rangers 24 (Varun 11); Pinakini, Gauribidanur w/o Avengers; Young Orions SC w/o BSC.
