`AIADMK-BJP front using SHG services'

By Our Special Correspondent

CHENNAI, MAY 5. The former Union Finance Minister, P. Chidambaram, has asked the Democratic Progressive Alliance (DPA) workers to remain alert in view of the attempts by the AIADMK-BJP combine to utilise the services of women self-help groups (SHGs) for elections.

In a statement, he said the AIADMK was adopting several methods to seek support for the combine through the SHGs. But it would not succeed.

The DPA should request the SHGs also to be watchful.
