Summer camp for children

SIRSI, MAY 6. "Putani Milan," a summer camp for children, is being organised from May 7 to May 16 at "Putani-Fun-Pool" at Goutam Garden on Sirsi-Banavasi Road.

Children will be trained in several areas, including handicrafts, magic, chess, health education, chorus singing, among other things, by experts.

Children in the 6 to 14 age group can register their names for the camp.

Interested persons may contact Vijayashri Hegde (Ph: 426627) or Geeta Hegde at Koorse compound, Sirsi, for details and registration.

Workshop

A workshop on "Neera Nemmadige Patrikodyama," under the auspices of the Media, Culture and Development Centre, Idagundi, will be held at Sirsi T.S.S. Hall for three days from May 14.

Nagesh Hegde of Prajavani, S. Vishwanath of Rainwater club, Bangalore, Chandrashekar Etadka of Jalakuta, Kasargod, and the columnist, Shivanand Kalave, will participate as resource persons.
