VELLORE, MAY 6. Able-bodied ex-servicemen of Vellore district who are desirous of undertaking security duty during the coming Lok Sabha elections have been requested by the Assistant Director of Ex-Servicemen's Welfare, P.Kaleswaran to register their names immediately at his office here, bringing with them their identity card and service certificate. The Vellore Collector, A.C.Mohandoss, and the Assistant Director of Ex-Servicemen's Welfare said in a release that the ex-servicemen would be engaged for poll duty for four days from May 8 to 11. Those who have registered their names should appear in person at 8 a.m. on May 8 at the Nethaji Stadium for election duty. Even those who have not registered their names could register their names in person on May 8.
