BIDAR, MAY 7. Dalit Sangharsha Samiti (DSS) has threatened to stage a dharna in front of the district police office here on Monday if the police fail to arrest those involved in "atrocities" against Dalits at Enakur in Bhalki taluk by then. The district unit of the samiti (Krishnappa faction) has accused the district administration and the police of being lenient to the accused in the case. In a release, Omprakash Bhavikatti, Narasing Soni, and Rajkumar Mulbharati, office-bearers of the unit, alleged that Vijay Kumar Konagutti and Prabhurao Huchche of Enakur were trying to disrupt peace in the village.
