Cloudy sky forecast

Sky will generally be cloudy on Saturday with the maximum temperature likely to be 34 degree Celsius. The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded on Friday were 33.6 degree Celsius and 23.6 degree Celsius respectively while the relative humidity was 49 per cent. Traces of rainfall were reported.

Prudential Bank depositors' plea

The Prudential Cooperative Bank Shareholders and Depositors' Welfare Association has urged the Chief Secretary, Mohan Kanda, to dissolve the existing body of directors and conduct a fresh election of shareholders to protect the interests of depositors.

No liquor shops

on May 11, 13

Toddy shops, IML wine shops, bars attached to restaurants, star hotels and military canteen situated in the city limits will remain closed from 6 a.m. on May 11 to 6 a.m. on May 12 and again from 6 a.m. on May 13 to 6 a.m. on May 14 in view of the counting of votes for the Assembly and the Lok Sabha elections, according to a press release issued by the City Police Commissioner, R.P. Singh.

The Department of Commerce, Centre for Professional and Business Studies, Osmania University, is organising campus placements for M. Com. IS students at the department on Saturday. Interviews will be conducted from 10 a.m. Representatives from companies like Wipro, Satyam, Ensolvia, Softpro Systems, Red Hat Technologies, GE Power Systems, Virtusa Technologies, Co-options Pvt Ltd., will participate in the programme, according to a release.

New wing

at NIMS

A new paediatric wing for both out-patients and in-patients has been set up at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS).

According to a press release, out-patient services are available between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. from Monday to Saturday.
