HYDERABAD, MAY 7. The Andhra Pradesh Government Doctors' Association (APGDA) of Gandhi Hospital and Medical College unit, which met here recently, demanded that the Government separate the teaching cadre in teaching institutes for pay and allowances on par with the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences. In a press release here, the association secretary, M. Veeresham, said the meeting also passed a resolution asking the Government to treat the doctors appointed prior to 1987 and after 1987 equally in respect of their service matters and other financial benefits. The meeting was presided by B. Ranganath Reddy, president of the association.
