BANGALORE, MAY 7. The Governor, T.N. Chaturvedi, has called for spreading the movement of the Bharat Scouts and Guides to every school in the State. Mr. Chaturvedi was speaking at the presentation of certificates and awards to Scouts and Guides here on Friday. The Scouts and Guides gave value education which helped in promoting community feelings and solidarity, he said. He wanted the local units such as panchayats to play an active role in promoting the movement. He assured the gathering to get financial assistance from the State Government for spreading the movement.
