The boys' team played a brilliant game to knock-out NAL 60-38. It led 40-22 at half time and built on the lead with the help of Karthik who was its top-scorer with 17 points. The other winners in the boys' event included Jaynagar Sports Club (JSC), which just about managed to get past Greens Davangere 36-34 and the Devanga team, which got past BCBC with consummate ease.

In the girls' section IBBC scored a comprehensive 31-7 victory over a clueless BCBC squad. Pragathi (10) and Ashwini (9) controlled the game perfectly not allowing BCBC to score a single basket after the first quarter. Viveks Sports Club and Mysore were the other victors in the girls' games.
