TIRUMALA, MAY 9. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president, M. Venkaiah Naidu, today expressed the confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would form the Government at the Centre. Talking to newsmen, Mr. Venkaiah Naidu said that the election campaign was perfectly carried out by the BJP in all States. The BJP president, who was here as part of fulfilment of his vow, said: "I have come here to seek the blessings of the Lord for the easy accomplishment of future tasks." In reply to a question, he said that the Telugu Desam party (TDP) would definitely support the NDA. When asked whether the NDA would seek the support of the Samajwadi Party in case the elections prop up a hung Parliament, he said: "The prospects of formation of the NDA Government are very bright." Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, who reached Tirumala on Saturday, offered prayers along with his family members this morning.
