CHENNAI, MAY 9. A 15-year-old boy was killed on the spot when he was run over by a tourist bus near Neelankarai on the East Coast Road on Sunday. Police said S. Kalidas, a Standard X student, was riding a motorcycle along with Palani, his classmate. The vehicle was involved in an accident with a bus which came from behind. Kalidas died on the spot, police said. Palani has been hospitalised. In another accident recorded in the city, a 45-year-old railway employee was run over by a locomotive at Kodambakkam early this morning. Police said Subramani, a gangman, was inspecting the track when the locomotive hit him.
