Amrutha triumphs

HYDERABAD, MAY 10 K.V. Amrutha of St. Joseph's High School with 4.5 points from five rounds emerged the Sunday chess tournament champion at the Vijay Public School here.

The results (Fifth round):

K.V. Amrutha 4.5 bt K. Aditha 4; G. Ganesh Reddy 4 bt J. Sai Kiran 3.5; B.S.V. Ramana 4 bt T. Sai Pavan 3; K. Sampath Kumar 4 bt Y. Sai Akshay 3; P. Madhuri 4 bt Swetha 2; Y. Amulya 3 bt Anurag Yadav 2.
