Recreation Club wins title

HYDERABAD, MAY 10. Vivekananda Nagar Recreation Club won the Team of Four Duplicate title in the first Syed Amjad Ali Khan memorial rolling trophy bridge tournament at the Nizam Club here on Monday. The team comprised M. Divakar Choudary (captain), M.V. Subba Rao, C.D. Kumar, M.B.V. Subramanyam, S.Rajagopal and G.Krishnam Raju.

Kakatiya's team, comprising V. Rambabu (captain), V.S.R. Murthy, T.A. Prasad, J.M. Rao, K.Srinivas and Ajay, finished second.

Mr. Mohan Kanda, IAS, chief secretary to the Govt. of AP was the chief guest and gave away the prizes. Mr. M.A. Samad, the Nizam club president and Mr. T. Mohan Reddy, the club secretary, congratulated the winners. The tournament was organised by Mr. Taqui Ali Mirza, organising secretary, Nizam Club.
