L&T Infotech- PeopleSoft pact
MUMBAI,
MAY 11.
Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd and PeopleSoft, a provider of enterprise application software, have joined hands to focus on the construction, manufacturing, financial services and telecom sectors. With the J D Edwards merger, PeopleSoft has a major focus on the manufacturing and distribution industry space, L&T Infotech said in a release here today. The partnership would offer products and solutions from PeopleSoft Enterprise One and PeopleSoft Enterprise product families, it said. L&T Infotech would leverage its domain expertise in the verticals like construction and manufacturing, it added. L&T Infotech Chief Executive, V. K. Magapu, and PeopleSoft South Asia Managing Director, Angus McDougall signed the agreement here.
