Weather

Partly cloudy sky. Maximum temperature would be around 37 degree Celsius. At Waltair, the maximum temperature was 32.7 degree Celsius and the minimum was 28.4 degree Celsius respectively on Tuesday. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 66 per cent and at 5.30 p.m. was 81 per cent. At Airport, the maximum and minimum temperatures were 37.4 degree Celsius and 29.4 degree Celsius respectively. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 58 per cent and at 5.30 p.m was 63 per cent.

New hotel

Talasila Continental, a three-star business class hotel at Dondaparthy junction, was inaugurated by the Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu on Tuesday. The hotel has a 24 hours coffee shop, vegetarian restaurant, a rooftop multi-cuisine restaurant, a bar, a conference hall and a boardroom.

Yoga course

The Institute for Yoga and Consciousness (extension wing), Andhra University, will conduct a three months certificate course in yoga from May 17. The course includes classes of asanas, pranayama, kriyas and meditation. Candidates should be less than 45 years and should have passed Std. X.
