HYDERABAD, MAY 12. The Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages will offer part-time courses in foreign languages from July/August. The courses to be offered include Certificate of Proficiency and Diploma in Arabic, German, Russian, Spanish and Japanese, Advanced Diploma in Arabic, German and Russian, Diploma in Translation (Arabic/Spanish) and Diploma in Technical and Scientific Translation in Russian and a Beginner's Course in Arabic (for learning Arabic script). Scheduled caste/tribe candidates and handicapped persons will be given reservations and fee concessions. Application forms and other details are available from the Dean's office (Foreign Languages, CIEFL, Hyderabad) from May 24. Admissions will be given on a first come first serve basis, according to a press release.
