dated May 14, 1954: Rare prints

A gallery of rare prints has been opened at the Fort Museum, Fort St. George, Madras. Some of the prints are stated to be more than a century old. The gallery was formally thrown open to the public on May 9. The prints on view at the Museum include those depicting a view of the Fort St. George and its monuments, the Thirumalai Naicker Palace at Madurai and Tanjore's Big Temple.
