Amarnath wins marathon

HYDERABAD, MAY 13. Amarnath of Southern Command won the marathon in the Army inter- command athletic championships with a time of two hours 35 minutes 39.98 seconds at the Artillery Centre, Golconda, here on Thursday. Pradeep Kumar and P.M. Murali, also from Southern Command, were second and third, respectively.

The results: Marathon: 1. Amarnath (SC) 2hr 35m 39.98s, 2. Pradeep Kumar (CC), 3. Murali P.M. (SC).
