East is best

HYDERABAD, MAY 13. The Chief Minister-designate, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, is a man who likes to face the East always. Although a medical graduate, he has the weakness to succumb to the beliefs of his near and dear ones now and then.

The only preference he has in his seating arrangement is that he should be facing east. Be it his residence or the CLP, the chair is positioned in such a manner as to confirm to this liking of his.

Friday's public swearing-in ceremony too will confirm to this preference. The dais is arranged in such a way that Dr. Reddy will be facing East while taking his oath, scheduled for 1.39 p.m.
