Book murder case against police: Gaddar

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, MAY 13. Balladeer, Gaddar, has urged the Chief Minister-designate, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, to book a murder case against the Adilabad district police for allegedly killing two People's War naxalites in an alleged encounter, near Bellampally, early on Thursday.

"If Dr. Reddy is sincere about solving the naxalite issue, he should immediately put an end to such fake encounters," Mr. Gaddar said here today.

Stating that people had rejected the outgoing Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, when he made naxalism the main issue in the just-concluded elections, Mr. Gaddar appealed to Dr. Reddy to declare his stand on the issue.
