Oriental Hotels pays 40 per cent
CHENNAI: Oriental Hotels has recommended a dividend of 40 per cent for the year ended March 31, 2004. It has increased its total income by 16 per cent to Rs. 115.25 crores from Rs. 99.04 crores despite one of the resort properties, Taj Malabar being under renovation for over six months during the year, according to a company release. The profit before tax has risen by 68 per cent and the profit after tax by 74 per cent, the release adds.
