DGFT notifies formation of PHARMEXCIL

HYDERABAD: The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), New Delhi, has issued a notification on May 12, creating PHARMEXCIL, the export promotion council for the pharma industry. Dinesh B. Mody of JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited is its Chairman and Venkat Jasti of Suvan Life Sciences Vice-Chairman, according to a release issued by Mr. Jasti's office here on Friday. The release said PHARMEXCIL would be headquartered at Hyderabad, with regional office in Mumbai.
