Aravinda Rao is Intelligence chief

HYDERABAD, MAY 14. In what is said to be the first major shake-up in the Police Department by the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, the State Intelligence chief, K. Durga Prasad, has been replaced by the Additional DGP, K. Aravinda Rao, who is presently working as Vigilance and Enforcement Director-General. However, an official announcement is yet to be made. Sources say that transfer of several senior officials is in the pipeline.
