Addressing the parents and students, the DPS Principal, M.I. Hussain, said the career fair was aimed at enabling the students to make the right career choice. Pointing out that a number of opportunities were now available in the non-traditional sectors, Mr. Hussain urged the parents to treat their children as partners. "Children's interest and aptitude must be taken into consideration. Only then will they be successful," he added. Mr. Chopra requested the parents not to force their opinion on their children. "They should instead give them a free hand," he added. A team of experts in biotechnology, law, journalism and mass communication, management, engineering, information technology, performing arts and insurance from Amity were also present on the occasion.
