Narrow win for Kotagiri SA

UDHAGAMANDALAM, MAY 15. Kotagiri Sports Association defeated First Computers Cricket Club by eight runs in the Indian Bank-Nilgiris District Cricket Association `B' Division league cricket tournament for the Murali Babu Rolling Trophy here recently.

The scores:

Kotagiri SA 191 (C. Preetham 62, K.R. Halldurai 28, B. Vinoth 26, K. Devakumaran four for 27) bt First Computers CC 183 (B. Dinesh Kumar 58, B. Prabhu 28, K.R. Ramesh three for 19, K.R. Halldurai three for 38).

Metro CC 154 (A.F. Ian 25, C. Srinath three for 36) lost to Sterling Biotech CC 157 for eight in 34.2 overs (M. Umashankar 37 not out, G. Sebastian three for 56).

`C' Division league-NDCA Trophy: Zeal Guys CC 106 (J. Ratheesh 40, A. Sridharan four for 12, A. Naresh three for 15) bt Soraigundu SS 74 (B. Premkumar 25, J. Ratheesh four for 21, A.R. Selvakumar three for 11).

Boyz Attack CC 160 (R. Radhakrishnan 28, K. Premkumar 27 not out, S. Guneshwaran four for 28, B. Vijay three for 25) lost to Rising Star CC 162 for six in 27.4 overs (B. Vijay 60 not out).
