Suryanarayana felicitated

VISAKHAPATNAM, MAY 14. S. Suryanarayana of Pydah College, who won a gold medal in dead lift and two bronze medals in squat and total in the Asian powerlifting championships held at Uzbekistan, was felicitated by the vice-chancellor of Andhra University, Y.C. Simhadri, here on Friday.

Suryanarayana lifted 305 kg for the dead lift gold, 247.5 kg in squat and recorded a total of 677.5 kg to clinch bronze medals, in the 82.5 kg category in the championships held at Zarafshan from April 28 to May 2.
