All-India tournament postponed

KOCHI, MAY 15. The Kerala State Billiards Association's all-India snooker tournament, which was scheduled to begin here on May 18, has been postponed. The event will now be held from June 29 to July 4.

"Since the dates were close to three major tournaments, the India-Pakistan Peace Cup in Chandigarh, the Asian senior snooker championship in Jordan and the Asian junior snooker meet in China, we were forced to postpone the Kochi event," said the KSBA president M.F. Mudadan.

Ironically, all the three majors have been postponed too.
