SHANGHAI, MAY 15. Australian Greg Norman was disqualified from the Asian Open golf after his third round on Saturday. Norman hit his tee shot at the 17th hole into a water hazard on the right and was ruled to have taken a drop from the wrong place. He finished his round on six under and tied in eighth before being disqualified.

Britain's Simon Dyson surged into a six-shot lead after the first nine holes of a rain-swept third day.
