By Our Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD,
MAY 15.
The city police on Saturday arrested two persons, Kishanlal Yadav and Mohd. Osman, who were accused in an acid assault case on one Balram Bhati, a shop owner at Begum Bazaar. The attack was carried out on May 8.
According to police, Yadav and Osman had resorted to the acid attack seeking vengeance on Bhati who had allegedly beaten up Yadav and his sons, Pavan Kumar Yadav and Kunal Yadav on April 16 after a quarrel over the parking of vehicles at Multanipura. Bhati had been arrested and sent for judicial case on April 17.
However, Yadav entrusted the revenge act to his driver, Osman, who threw an acid bottle on Bhati on May 8, causing burn injuries on Bhati, Banhatlal Bhati and Fareed, a customer at Bhati's shop.
Both Yadav, who had gone on a pilgrimage after ordering his driver to commit the offence, and Osman were arrested on Saturday.
