Dies in accident

MYSORE, MAY 16. A cyclist was killed when he was run over by a lorry on the T. Narsipur Road on the outskirts of the city on Sunday.

The victim has been identified as Mahesh (15) of Hosa Kemparayanahundi village. The accident occurred when the lorry tried to negotiate a curve and swerved to the right knocking down the cyclist in the process. The villagers blocked the road on learning about the accident, the police said.
