Nellore
By Our Staff Reporter
NELLORE, MAY 16. The Nellore MLA-elect, Anam Vivekananda Reddy, has said that his priority will be to provide clean and safe drinking water, besides a well-equipped drainage system for Nellore town. Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Mr. Reddy said that the need of the hour was to have a consensus among all political parties, paving the way for overall development of the district. With the change of Government in the State, he appealed to all to extend co-operation to undertake developmental works in the district. Mr. Reddy said he would continue to adopt a `pro-people' policy and take up issues relating to the common man irrespective of the party in power in the State. He appealed to party workers/functionaries to shun extravaganza and said all meetings should be as simple as possible. He reiterated his commitment towards attending public problems, the "moment he receives a phone call."
