Lightning kills student

CUDDAPAH, MAY 16. An Intermediate second year student, Maheswara Reddy (18), was fatally struck by lightning in Bhoomayapalle village in Khajipet mandal, during heavy rainfall and thunder that lashed various parts of Cuddapah district on Saturday evening. The student, died on the spot due to the lightning strike while playing cricket with his friends on the village outskirts.
