Ex gratia for tank collapse victims

HYDERABAD,
MAY 16
. The Chief Minister, Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy, has expressed grief over the death of seven persons in a water tank collapse at Kondagattu village in Karimnagar district and directed the in-charge Collector to ensure that the eight persons who were injured got proper medical care.
According to an official press release here on Sunday, the Chief Minister spoke to the in-charge Collector, M. Danakishore and directed the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) to conduct a detailed enquiry and submit a report. Dr. Reddy also announced ex gratia of Rs.50,000 from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to the kin of the deceased, Rs.25,000 to those who grievously injured and Rs. 10,000 to those who suffered minor injuries. He also ordered payment of Rs. 50,000 for the relatives of those deceased who came under the purview of Apathbandhu scheme.
