PONDICHERRY, MAY 17. In a gruesome incident, a mother killed her son by smashing his head with a stone over a verbal duel. Indrarani was arrested by the Mettupalayam police. The police said the incident occurred on Sunday evening when Indrarani returned home and saw her second son Sathyamoorthy entering the home by breaking the lock. The two picked up a quarrel. The mother hit the son with a stone and he died on the spot.
