MANIPAL, MAY 17. The Telecom Department will soon implement High Frequency Flag And Project Oxygen Communication (HFFAPOC) (Wireless), Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited Dakshina Kannada Telecom District Principal General Manager, K.J. Chacko, has said. Speaking at the valedictory function of the two-day national conference on "Urban infrastructure and quality of life", organised by Manipal Institute of Management here on Sunday, he said the Telecom Department was now in a position to provide services of global standards to its customers. In terms of telecom service, India was on a par with other global systems, he added. He said development that did not pay attention to aspects of human consideration would result in misery. UNI
