Rajeev Rathore shines

NEW DELHI, MAY 18. Rajeev Rathore's fine bowling (four for 15) was instrumental in Chand Khanna Club's five-wicket win over Young Friends Club and a place in the pre-quarterfinals of the all-India Goswami Ganesh Dutt memorial cricket tournament at the Khalsa College ground here on Tuesday.

The scores: Young Friends Club 154 in 37.4 overs (Pradeep Chawla 44, Raju Sharma 25, Tarun Dutta 26, Rajeev Rathore four for 15) lost to Chand Khanna Club 158 for five in 35.5 overs (Amar Singh 44, Piyush Sharma 32, Pankaj Malik 28 not out).
