Senior Congress leaders meet

NEW DELHI, MAY 18. In the backdrop of the Congress president, Sonia Gandhi's refusal to accept the prime ministership, senior leaders, part of the party's strategy group, tonight held discussions immediately after the meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Party.

The leaders, who met at Ms. Gandhi's residence here, were Ambika Soni, Ahmed Patel, Oscar Fernandes, K. Natwar Singh and Arjun Singh.
