This Day That Age
The Government of India have decided to establish a Film Production Bureau and a Film Institute and, to ensure proper co-ordination, to constitute a National Film Board, according to a statement prepared for presentation to Parliament by Dr. B. V. Keskar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting. The Film Production Bureau, besides giving advice on scripts, will provide guidance to producers on various aspects of film production. The Film Institute will impart training in direction, photography, sound engineering, editing and other aspects of production.
