Nayanar dead

NEW DELHI, MAY 19. The former Kerala Chief Minister and CPI(M) veteran, E.K. Nayanar, died at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences here today after a protracted illness.

Mr. Nayanar (86) is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.

The end came at 5 p.m. after he developed complications.
