NEW DELHI, MAY 19. A man was stabbed and robbed of money inside a moving DTC bus near Kamla Nehru College (KNC) in Defence Colony on Tuesday morning. Two of the robbers were arrested, while the other two managed to escape with the booty. According to the police, the DTC bus, plying on route No. 544, came to a stop near KNC in Defence Colony around 8-30 a.m. Four persons came down from the bus and began fleeing, while another man followed them raising an alarm. Reacting to the commotion, the Police Control Room van, stationed nearby, gave a chase and managed to catch two of them. The other two managed to escape. Those arrested have been identified as Harish Kapoor, a resident of Tigri, and Hari Kumar, a resident of Badarpur, both in South Delhi. The victim was identified as Pavitra Dass, a resident of Mithapur in Badarpur. He told the police that he had boarded the bus from Badarpur and was robbed of Rs. 18,400 at knifepoint just before reaching the College stop.
