`Excellent choice': Sangma

NEW DELHI, MAY 20. The Nationalist Trinamool Congress leader, P.A. Sangma, who parted ways with the Congress and the NCP on the issue of Sonia Gandhi's foreign origin, today said he stood vindicated by her decision to opt out of Prime Ministership and demanded amendment to the Constitution to prevent a person of foreign origin from occupying the top post. While describing Manmohan Singh as an ``excellent choice'' Mr. Sangma said that the manner in which he was made the Prime Minister was ``not in good taste''.
